Modern Display Interface or MetroPada Start screen, type in your search keywords. A panel will appear on the right side of the screen, displaying the various matches appear.
In the standard settings, the results are displayed in the top category is the Apps. If you are looking for a file and the keywords that you entered did not match the name of the program that is installed on the PC, then the search results will be empty.
Click Files in the right pane and you will find the various files that contain the search terms you use.
Desktop display
Repulse this one is similar to the look of Windows 7, 8 without the Start button to access the Search feature. So how do I find a file in Windows 10 with the desktop?To find a program, press the Windows key + R, type the name of the program that you need then press ENTER. Unfortunately, it is also sometimes fruitless. If this happens, it is better to use the view Modern Interface and follow the steps above.
You can also search for a file in Windows 10 using File Explorer which you can access by clicking the folder icon on the taskbar. Once open File Explorer, navigate to the folder you want. File Explorer is the default location Libraries, which contain folders Documents, Photos, Videos and Music.
Click in the search box on the right and type your search keywords.
